Great knife for the money.

It's a good deal but I gave it a four because the saw teeth on the back of the blade are about worthless. And its a shade light it could be a little heavier.

Great MACHETE

As I read some of the reviews I am wondering why it is that people buy a item then use it in ways it was not designed for . This is a machete it is to be used for small limbs grass weeds things like that. I have had mine for 2 years and have used the snot outa it and all it has asked for in return is cleaning light oil and a occasional sharpening. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because the sheath is really really bad I made a kydex one for it and it is just about perfect.

Good camp Machete

Here is a good example of getting what you pay for,at under $20 this is a great camp Machete to replace the small hatchet you usually take with you. Good for batoning firewood saw isn't any good but can be made usable with a 3/16 chain saw file, the little plastic plugs will come out of the handle just throw them away. The blade shape and size is good. If you wanted a high quality Kukari this probably isn't what your looking for but at under $20 bucks hey you can't go wrong.

Just wanted to split a log as wide as a beer bottle hitting the top with another log ... this thing just broke. For a utility kukri it's design is really bad. The blade is too thin and too light. My 70-80 years old Japanese-Military kukri is doing a way better job.
