Pros: Blade Material, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Materials, Usable
Cons: Sheath/Scabbard
Swooshing away bad cut habits
I've ordered two, and after using them a bit, I discovered something cool. While the design is very different from your usual bokken (bokuto), it produces a cool swoosh sound on correct cuts, that bokkens don't. An okayish cut that's slightly off, can still make a bit of the same swoosh sound, but not as clearly as good cuts. The blade flexes more than my Cold Steel bokken, and it doesn't feel like it can handle the same kind of punishment. But why would you want to, it's a practice sword not a sledgehammer. Plus it would ruin the cool look. Don't expect a thin blade, while it may appear so from the side, it is actually thick. Makes sense since a thin plastic blade, would make the sword too light, to be used as a practice substitution for the real thing. Bit of a shame that there isn't a scabbard for them.
