Hibben Triple Thrower

Excellent quality knives in a great leather sheath. I use them to throw at home and they are great. Love the weight and size, great for distance throwing.

For me throwing knives was just a fun past-time ,but after buying this set I'm hooked. I find the 8 1/2" to be the right size for my application. I throw from a 15 to 20 foot range. I have thrown these knives hard and long and they still look new. The sheath is made with a custom made look and style. I will (am going to) buy Hibben knives from now on.

Good Throwers

These knives are really good for throwing. They're well balanced and the 420 steel is highly corrosion resistant. The tip is sharp, though the blade isn't that sharp, so that way you don't run the risk of cutting your hand whilst throwing from the blade. The only thing I don't find true to the description is that they don't really double-up as a practical hunting knife at all. The handles are not really that well designed to have paracord wrapped-around properly and it just doesn't really work that way. The sheath is very good though. It's a little hard to pull the knives out because they fit in tightly, but that's great because it prevents them from falling out.

Have only had them for a short time but considering they are my first Hibben knives I'm very impressed. The leather sheath is nice but far too tight initially. I'm hoping it breaks in and the knives are a little easier to remove. KNIVES MADE IT TO A SMALL BASE IN AFGHANISTAN IN 6 DAYS FROM DATE OF ORDER!

Hibben 8.5" triple thrower set(Top-Notch Knives & Store)

I have been throwing Axes,Tomahawks & Knives for over 15 years and this is actually my 3rd set of hibben throwers(these are for one of my sons) ,the first set i bought over 13 years ago and they are still in great shape. You can't go wrong with ANY Hibben throwerer!! Also Kudos to the "the knife center" for their fast shipping and superior customer service!!

Nice Knife for Throwing

I have been using this set of knives - I have a collection of about twenty for throwing - for a few years and am very pleased with them. They have the weight to make them easier to handle and to get to the target.

Great throwers

I'm not an expert by any means-- consider that as you read on. I decided I wanted to learn how to throw a knife so I bought this set. The knives made of stainless steel and are of excellent quality. For the price, I can't see how you can beat this set. The only thing I don't like about them is that they're made in China, but try to find anything that isn't.

Great, for the price.

Although the knives are impossible to sharpen due to the horrible 420ju steel, I believe the steel is ideal for throwing as its the best for rugged durability. The leather on the sheath is pretty Chinese but the knives stay in well. I wrapped the handle's in para-cord which looks boss. They work well for spin throws but I haven't been able to get accurate non-spin going. Bottom line good throwing knives so long as you don't expect to do anything else with them.

Nice Practice Set

Fourth set of throwers from KC & again, fine quality for practice/general use. Added small paracord (550 a bit too big-went with 3mm) to the handles & they still fit (snugly) in the sheath (best one I've had from Hibben). They're springy enough to absorb most off-hits w/o damage & even so, a minor touchup with a stone or file has been all that was necessary. The smaller Hibbens (4" OAL, cord wrap) are not near the same quality, steer clear.

great thrower set

works well for straight and spin throwing, heavyer than they look too. cool looking and feels nice to handle, good quality sheath that i havent found flaws with yet. only bad thing i can say about them is that some of the finer points of the finish vary like sharpness and the corners on the spine, but you can only see when closely examined and this is to be expected with hand made production knives.

Tip broke after 20 throws

If you want knives that look cool u should get these, but the holes in the knives make it fairly vulnerable for snapping in half.. My friends one broke 2 days ago (also at one of the holes)

Don't waste your money.

Don't waste your money. They started out okay but one broke in half withing the first 30 minutes of having them. I wasn't throwing them at anything hard or anything like that and I have had other throwing knives before and never had problems but this really pissed me off.
