versatile and great value
I've got a lot of throwers and needed more like ..., but this set was on a great sale and the style looked interesting. The 11" length is a plus as I like larger throwers in general but these are a little lighter than they look. Minutes after they arrived I put them to use in various throwing styles - half spin, full spin, no spin and these knives worked surprisingly well in all. I deliberately abused them a bit and they appear to be tough enough to take it. The balance is pretty much at the mid point which was unexpected since they look tip heavy. They did come a little on the sharp side for a thrower, but that is expected from the United Cutlery lineup.
