Pros: Handle Material, Overall Quality, Sheath/Scabbard
Cons: Blade Sharpness, Finish
Overall good value, good looking knife
Love the striking design. It's a practical fighting knife without any real fantasy flourishes. The grip is fairly comfortable with a nice palm swell. The sheath was given some custom touches as well, and it looks good. My knife was a little rough around the edges - there were some imperfections at the edge, and the grind lines near the tip wander a little bit. At this price, that is not a problem. However, the description (not Knifecenter's fault) claims the blade is mirror polished. Only the exposed tang and handle pins are. The blade itself is a very plain, dare I say almost dull, satin finish. Also, she's a bit handle-heavy. I suspect that thick tang is not skeletonized at all. Overall, still a good, sturdy knife for the price. It loses some points for the disappointing finish. This handsome design deserves better treatment and blade-to-handle balance, which I would gladly have paid for. Regardless, I am happy with it and will just put it to work.
