Boy these things are crazy strong clips, like you have to use two hands to open and close strong. They won’t be coming off of whatever you put them on. I would guess the fabric of your pants or whatever would tear before the grip on one of these things gives out. I love these clips. They make IWB much easier and more secure than other options, and you don’t have to have a belt on to use them which is nice. It will be hard to get them on thicker fabrics, but basic clothing fabrics like jeans and shorts should be fine. Great for pocket carry as well. The only downside of how strong these are is that it takes a little more effort to use them, but that is much more preferable to me than a clip that doesn’t stay clipped. I use these mainly for my IWB self-protection oriented knives, and it excels at that in my opinion. All-in-all, if you want a clip that will keep a knife attached to your pocket through a tornado or a hurricane, then this is the clip for you.
