I had a knife like this when I was in the Coast Guard back in 66 and loved it for its utility. I still have the old one but wanted a newer one and had a hard time finding it. This knife is just like the old one a great knife I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a knife with utility such as a screw driver or prying open a paint can. The only con is the lock blade is difficult to get started to open.

Affordable good American made electricians knife

The blades are sharp. There is no blade play in the liner. Less than 30 dollars for an American made knife. The only issue that I had that was a minor issue, was that it came over oiled, but that is no big deal.

Solid

A typical Utica knife. Solid, well built. A bit of a thumbbuster to open, but I've found that to be typical with these types of knives. A good value for the money.

Always have one hooked to a belt loop

I don't know why traditional knives are rarely sharp but this one is easy to sharpen so it's not a huge deal. There's a lot of usefulness with this style knife. Typically the screwdriver gets more use as a light pry bar but haven't broken it yet. I keep one clipped to my belt loop with a little carabiner.
