All the SAK most people need

I got this specifically to make fancy scales for it and give it as a gift to a family member. It's a lovoely knife. I usually carry a Compact, but I think this may be my second favorite. It's even a little shorter than the Compact, makeing this one more... compact. Good knife. Better with fancy scales if you can make them.

Bantam bites

Got one a long time ago w/o key ring, keep playing hide and seek with it, but it is a perfect edc type of knife. Fits great in an Altoids kit, if you’re so inclined. Got one for my son’s kit as well. For more outdoors stuff, its cousin, the Walker is great. That’s in my tin kit now. Recently got the Alox version to add to the family of SAKs that I have. Prefer the medium sized ones for EDC, as they are easier to hold and manipulate. But, Bantam has the essential tools that cover most everything you use daily on a SAK. Owned many over past 60 years. One was my first knife given to me.

Minimal Swiss

Top Victorinox quality as usual. When I saw this cellidor-scaled Bantam on sale here I picked one up as a backup replacement in case I lose my Alox Bantam. Great for opening a beer and opening mail at the end of a day.

Compact Utility

I'm always blown away by the quality of Victorinox knives. For the price, it's insane. Full flat ground, mirror polished blades! Snaps closed like a trap, absolutely no blade play. This knife doesn't seem like much, but it packs a lot of utility into a small package. This guy weighs about an ounce, is 3-1/4" long, is only 1 layer thick, which means it disappears into my pocket for effortless carry. The main blade is 2-1/2" long with a 2-1/16" edge. This is big enough to do some serious work and food prep. I can choke up to do fine tasks, so I don't miss a small blade. Steel is easy to sharpen and takes a fine edge. The combo tool is a paragon of design. It competently opens CANS, bottles, turns flat head and PHILLIPS (hold at a 45 degree angle). Wire stripper works when you get the hang of it. I squared up the spine of the combo tool to strike fire steels and it works great. Don't forget, you get toothpick and tweezers, too! I use the pick to clean other knives, lift up labels and work on delicate surfaces. Tweezers are great for removing splinters, ticks, and of course, pick up small things. This is a well designed, well executed tool.

The Bantam

Love the little knife. Just got it in and already added a black one to my next order. The blade is a little stiff which I like. When I use it it wouldn't close easy. Going to use it for work. It's light sharp and easy-to-use. It's a keeper.

Best Swiss edc

I have a dozen SAK'S and the bantam is now my favorite edc. Does everything I need plus it's thin, light and swiss army solid. Highly recommend it. Now I'll have to get the alox version! Big👍!!
