note, this model is a slim Companion, and has only 5 pre-defined tools (in 3 pieces; scissors, bottle opener, phillips minus driver, wire stripper, and the exclusive box cutter). As with any Vnox SAKs, there can be myriads more than the pre-defined uses, but it is good to know that only 3 pieces for this simple beautiful Alox. The Alox Slim Companion does not contain a knife blade. There are notes and contradicting disclaimers, indicating that the lack of blade “may” exclude categorization as a bladed restricted item for airplane flights, while at the same time stating to remind that airline authorities may choose to restrict it. In other words, it is the user’s discretion, judge with care, especially for important flights. The tool is 3 layers, simple, great to carry around or leave at desk for opening boxes, cutting small paper such as memos or stickers, ribbons, etc., and opening bottles. wire-stripping when needed, as well and a Phillips minus driver can help anywhere in the house. excellent!
