One of the Best Victorinox Alox's Ever!

I admit I wanted the silver version of the SAK Farmer X multitool but it wasn't in stock. I was wary of having the Knife Center logo on the back (which someone complained about quite bitterly in the KC reviews for the black version of the Alox Farmer X) but the printing is quite unobtrusive. I wanted an Alox with the excellent SAK scissors and saw and the ruby red aluminum scales are quite striking and beautiful on this tool. I am very happy camper with my 12th SAK!

Robust and Snappy

Flawless construction and finish. Beautiful deep red color. Tools are slightly bigger and thicker then standard 91mm plastic models, with stronger spring. Super fast shipping and excellent customer service as always.

Great knife. Love the added scissors of the x. Also, the color is nice. Reminds me of the older Victorinox alox knives I bought in the late 80's, early 90's stationed overseas.

Wow!

Just arrived from knifecenter. I have had a pioneer since the mid 80s and have had my eye on the farmer x for a while. Decided to pull the trigger and am glad I did! This thing is a beast! Pair it with a key smart pocket hanging clip and you'll never know you have it in your pocket. Quality is impeccable and I know the reliability of its little brother, the pioneer. You can't go wrong with this one. I bought the knifecenter red because I don't like the plain alox look. This thing is fire engine red.

I have a number of SAK knives. The Alox Farmer X is by far my favorite. Has almost everything you need in a pocket friendly size. Excellent quality. I can’t imagine replacing this with anything else.

The Victorinox Farmer X!

Big fan of the Victorinox Farmer for many years. When this version came out last year I was happy to see the scissors added to an already useful EDC and bush crafting pocket knife. The fact that Knifecenter carries it in an exclusive Red Alox makes this a must have for me. If you’re familiar with the Farmer it’s slightly thicker. But not uncomfortably so. Highly recommend this version for the Red Alox scales.

The perfect SAK

I've been carrying this knife EDC for over 3 years now. I have 35 or 40 SAKs but this is my favorite. Perfect for the outdoors and EDC, it is robust and has a great assortment of useful tools. Sometimes I carry it in a belt sheath but mostly I carry it in a pants cargo pocket in a pocket sheath. I will likely be carrying it for at least another three years. I carry a lot of different knives but this one is a constant companion.

Nice Exclusive

2020 hasn't been all bad. It gave us the Victorinox Farmer X. Thank you KnifeCenter for bringing us this exclusive red version. The Farmer X is the biggest of the 93mm SAK. The red anodizing is bright and spot on. The KnifeCenter engraving on the back panel is tastefully done. This is a nice piece for the collection.

My 6th and best SAK

I have several Classic SDs, an alox Pioneer, an Explorer, an 80s-era Camping, a walnut Spartan, and a Wine Master, but the red alox Farmer X is hands down the best of all. Slim, beautiful, and well appointed: no complaints...the perfect EDC.

The Best of the Best of the Best...SIR!

I have a number of SAK’s in both ALOX and Celador. I honestly believe the ALOX knives to be twice the ruggedness. Nothing wrong with the plastic...but the Aluminum is my preference. I have silver, black, green and now RED. Getting the Farmer in the X version is wonderful. Having the red ALOX is like getting Aluminum icing on a steel cake! Or something. Whatever. Arrived in 4 days via basic shipping & packed to survive WW III. No complaints anywhere. Great knife and great service all around.

Fantastic Knife!

This is an excellent knife for camping, home handyman stuff or just every day carry. The alox scales keep it slim enough to go into a pair of jeans or dress slacks. The scissors, saw, awl and blade have you covered for any cutting task. Over time, the red color will give way to the gray of the aluminum. Some people think that looks cool and some people want their knife to look new forever. If you are in the second group, buy the same knife in silver alox and keep the red one as a collecting knife.
