Swiss army Ranger

I was given my first SAK by a teacher friend when I grad High school and I always wanted one of the bigger army knives. After all those years of looking I found the one I wanted. I have if buy the Ranger for Edc you wont go wrong. To my late teacher friend Dan thank you for introducing me to the Swiss Army knife. I consider it the best rod knives around

Can't think of any thing a pocket knife should do; that this woun't. Careful about puting to much torque on the main blade and sissors.

Victorinox Ranger leads the way!

Of the half-dozen models of Swiss Army Knife I own, the Ranger is the pick of the batch, hands down, with all of the tools I need in a pinch, and none that I can't use. The corkscrew holds a small screwdriver (purchased separately) for eyeglasses, and the nearly hidden pinhole in the scale beside this tool holds a straightpin to extract splinters. All told, when tricked out this is a tool kit and first aid kit rolled into one; I do like the Huntsman, and Tinker, but for shear utility the Ranger is my first choice - I don't leave home without it!

Semper peratus

Sure, I love all my sexy Benchmades and Spydercos and TOPS and whatnots, but this SAK easily provides the most bang for the buck, and it proves itself more useful for a wider variety of tasks. The fit and finish are great; everything moves and sets into place tightly. This knife will go with my everywhere and anywhere (except on a plane). I will no doubt buy one or two more for myself and for gifts. Superb work, Victorinox. As for KnifeCenter ... the last two SAKs I've bought from them arrived two or more days ahead of schedule and in perfect condition. KCI simply rocks.
