My perfect Victorinox
I'm a bit obsessed with Victorinox multitools and through the years have collected almost all of them. However, like most collectors I keep most of them in their boxes and don't carry them. The exception is this Victorinox Companion, which is in my handbag at all times and is my favorite Victorinox multitools. For years I've been searching for a Victorinox with full sized scissors and a nail file but it wasn't available unless I got the larger Victorinox like the Ranger, or went to the Wengers, which is now owned by Victorinox, but I don't like them as much. The SD Classic scissors aren't very good for cutting anything but paper and string and can't cut thru zip ties or paracord. The added bonus on this multitool is the pen. While I love the Cadet with the nail file, and Pioneer X with the scissors, they are both lacking key features I am looking for together in a compact package. And yes the new Companion Synergy X has a file and scissors but I don't want to travel abroad with a locking blade. The only thing I changed on this model is replacing the red celedon scales to yellow celedon scales.
