My boyfriend loved it

I got this handy knife for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day and he absolutely loves it! I do too and will most likely get myself one soon too. He uses at work all the time and when he's home he always uses the screw drivers and of course bottle opener lol. I have to say I made a good choice and am quite jealous! I recommend this to anyone male or female they will like it a lot! This is my first time ordering from knife center and it won't be the last. Thanks guys!

Best discreet EDC

This is one of the most practical EDC knives you can own -- so long as you don't expect your EDC to serve as a self defense tool. It includes all the tools you need without being a burden to carry in a pocket, even in a pair of dress slacks. The two blades come wicked sharp. While they dull relatively quickly with regular use, a couple of swipes across a stone is all it takes to bring them back to life. I've used the large blade as a letter opener, kitchen knife and even as a steak knife in a restaurant; I use the small blade too many times a day to remember. The bottle opener is a blessing for a craft beer fan, and the can opener has saved my lunch more than once when the soup I brought to work isn't in one of those handy pull-top cans, The phillips head screwdriver I use less often, but it sure is handy when it's handy. One final thought: An EDC is only useful if you can use it. Is it satisfying to whip out your EDC with a quick flick of the thumb and to hear that satisfying "click" as the liner lock snaps home? Sure it is. But you can probably pull out a Swiss Army Knife in the office without getting a weird look from your boss. And you can pull one out to open your chips at the food court without getting an eye roll from your girl friend or wife.

A True Classic

This little fella will go down in knife history as THE most popular knife in the world. It puts the 'C' in convenience and lasts a long time under light use. It is definitely not the next Cold Steel Recon 1, which I often carry along with this thing, but it gets the job done. The question you need to ask yourself is "why NOT get this knife?" Overall, a perfect little tool that should find its way into every civilians pocket.

Hi knife friends- blade big enough and small one saved, drivers, light and as stated wont freak people out! Wont stop enemy forces but its great for EDC carry when you need to "tinker" with stuff- my all arpund fave!

Amazing Swiss Quality.

This may just be the perfect EDC pocket knife. If you're looking for a really useful knife, and not a wilderness survival knife, it's hard to beat this one. The quality it top notch. The selection of tools is just about everything you need. The Phillips head screwdriver is especially nice to have. It's not too big and not too small. Feels good in your hand, and everything operates just as it should.

My #1 knife

I own many knives, but I keep coming back to this one. This has been my #1 pocket knife for about 25 years. It just has so many useful features and fits so nicely in my pocket--just the perfect compromise between size and utility. Several times I have lost the tooth pick or tweezers which are among the most used tools. I just walk into a famous outdoor store and get a free replacement. The can opener works really well. What a sweet knife for everyday use.

23 years and going strong!

I bought this knife as a young kid at Yellowstone National Park in 1990, if my memory serves me correctly. I still have it and use it camping and tinkering around the house. Great quality and this particular model has, what I consider, the most useful set of tools, especially the nice big Phillips screwdriver in place of the cork screw. I've had it for over twenty years and some day I'll pass it down to my son. Pretty cool.

Victorinox Swiss Army Tinker Multi-Tool is unbeatable

I have had a Swiss Army Tinker knife in my pocket for over 30 years. I am a volunteer firefighter and have carried one in my pocket ever since a couple of professional firefighters could not get out of a burning house and paid for it with their lives. However, I seem to lose my knife every 10 years or so. I have used it to repair tvs and computers, open cans, and cut gosh only knows what. It has never failed me. All I have to do is keep it clean, oil it when needed and keep it sharp!

Quality That Never Quits!

I've had my Tinker for about 3 years and it has never failed to perform. I carry it daily and it always accompanies me when I take to the woods. Whether cutting fuzz sticks to make a fire or tightening a clamp on a car hose, the Tinker gets it done. The blades take a very good edge and hold it quite a while. The whole knife is well constructed and will last you a lifetime. Guess Victorinox doesn't sell millions of these for no reason.

Perfect EDC

I choose this version over the Hiker because of the thinner profile. The saw on the Hiker would be nice for constructing survival snares, but I don't go into the woods without more substantial tools in my kit. Anyway, for the price and size, this is the most useful knife I've ever owned. It's unnoticeable in my front pocket (with the key ring removed) and has every tool I can imagine needing for day to day tasks. Having a Phillips driver in place of a corkscrew is a huge improvement. I've even found myself using the often-ridiculed toothpick daily. The tools have no wiggle when open or closed. An interesting feature is that, as well as fully opening, the bottle opener/large screwdriver also locks open perpendicular to the handle. The factory edges were pretty dull on both blades. A few strokes through a V-sharpener, followed by honing on a steel fixed that. I use the larger blade for utility and save the smaller one for emergencies, such as preforming a field tracheotomy. The steel used is mediocre in quality, but it doesn't rust, its easy to sharpen, and keeps cost down. I use all three screwdriver tips regularly. Everything from firearms disassembly to changing batteries in the kids' toys. The can opener and bottle opener have made me the savior of more than one camping trip. Speaking of sociality, its great having a knife that won't cause a panic when seen, like a "tactical" folder might do. Not a defensive weapon by any means (I don't think its appropriate to call it a weapon in the first place), but that's what I carry a pistol for. It's definitely not a replacement for a true multi-tool, nor would I want to dress a deer with it. Its simply a very useful and convenient tool that's unobtrusive enough to carry at all times. Cheap enough that you wouldn't mind too much if confiscated by TSA. Outside of airports, courthouses, etc., there should be no legal issues with this knife. If you live somewhere that prohibits carrying a little Boy Scout knife, you need to move. Seriously.
