Versatile Tool for All Those Little Jobs

I always carry one of these when I'm in the woods. It has a very useful combination of tools. (I prefer the Phillips screwdriver to a corkscrew found on some SAKs.) Of course, it has the high quality that Victorinox users have come to expect. When 'in town' I usually carry a Super Tinker, which is the same knife as this, but without the saw. Its slightly thinner & lighter weight.

Used and abused daily!

CANT BE BEAT!! I worked at warehouses, walmart and now subway while in school for HVAC and I find myself reaching for it for SOME reason every single day!!! If you dont need a corkscrew and are outdoors and around woodworking ti has every tool you need! I carry this and a gerber diesel multi tool every day and reach for my fieldmaster at least once a day. If I ever cannot decide what to get someone for birthday of xmas, I gift them one of these and they love me for it!

FieldMaster - Just the right size.

I use this pretty much every day. the leather punch is great for cutting packing tape to open boxes with out getting goo on the blades that I use to trim and cut things from wood to small diameter tubing. I use the wood saw to perform trail maintenance while hiking. It would be even better if the Philips head screw driver was a little bit sharper.

Not like I remember

This is essentially a Huntsman with a large Philips screwdriver replacing the corkscrew. I had one 40 years ago as a child. I got one for my kid's 12th birthday in a couple of weeks. The box looks damaged on receipt. The knife has a plasticy feel on the one handle scale, like it's hollow. The hook is impossible to open unless I use another knife or tool to prize it open. All tools are very, very stiff to open. I don't think my kid will be able to or want to, which is a shame. The saw is stunning – the best out there still. The scissors are brilliant – In fact the saw and the scissor is all you need this knife for – the rest probably are served better by a modern multitool. Although there's just something nostalgic about giving and receiving an SAK.

Great knife & price, service not as much

As usual, this is a great knife. The price was very good too. However, the delivery was much longer than I expected. After getting confirmation of the order, it was almost 2 full weeks before I heard anything else saying it had just then been shipped. It took almost another full week for the knife to arrive.
