Fine Piece of Hardware

It's beautifully machined & polished, and small and slender so needs close focus to use, but it gets the job done and very nicely, then folds up very neatly. I love it for trips where I need to shave weight, but it's super useful for everyday use too... a quality tool.

Sharp ... YES size .. SMALL carry in pocket .. NO .. edges are OPEN and SHARP ( if it stayed closed or had some kind of cap ?? ) Other than that, only time will tell ....

Too small for big hands

Always seeking the Holy Grail of SAK and better than the poor drug store nail clippers, I ordered this based on my appreciation of SAK quality, which it has. The fail for me was my XL hands and a clipper that is roughly 1/2 sized in all respects. This would be a big winner if it had the jaw opening and overall size of a normal nail clipper. If you order the SAK knife model that incorporates this tool, it elevates the tool function by doubling the hand hold capacity to a normal nail clipper. Then only the jaw opening is the shortcoming, being smaller than the average nail clipper.
