Pros: Handle Material, Blade Material
Cons: None
Poor Quality Control
I have bought many knives from the Knife Center, but the V Knives Poseidon model came to me in the worst condition from the factory of any knife I had previously purchased. The blade was severely misaligned and would not open. I had to loosen screws and was able to get the blade open; however could not ever get the blade perfectly aligned. There was also more blade play than most other knives I have purchased. Overall, the materials looked fine....it appeared to be a problem with quality control from the factory. My only other beef was David C. Anderson had referred to V Knives as an American company inferring the products were made here in the USA. I found out later, after reviewing paperwork contained in the packaging that the knives are made all over the world including Communist China. Although I have purchased knife products from China on occasion, as a rule I try not to.
