Follow up
The Belone has become one of my favorite knives. The design and construction is top notch in the production market. My initial review was in annoyance of having to smooth out some rough edges. . I felt that I should not have had to do that. Now that I have purchased other knives in the price range, I understand more about trade-offs. Now, months later, after I smoothed it, massaged it, it exudes an elegance and style unmatched in my collection (about 3 dozen). Thank you, Viper. Thank you, K.C.

Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening, Handle Material, Pocket Clip, Blade Material, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
It bites so beware
It bites. The pocket clip is tip up only. The point of the blade is just below the frame. But not low enough. It can and does easily stabs you when unclipping it from your pocket. Which can be avoided. Grab the sides of the frame when unclipping it from your pocket. Or use a lanyard. Or don't clip it to your pocket, just carry it in your pocket.

Fit and finish should be done by the manufacturer
I carry the Belone in its turn. I had to smooth a lot of rough edges. Too many. This was the first time I spent $200 on a knife and I thought somebody else should have done that. (Some Japanese craftsman, maybe..? a not so subtle dig..) In the end, I feel like I'm carrying a lot of Italian style. Also, a lot of fine Austrian steel. But, really, a lot of Italian style. I'm smiling.
