Pros: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Weight
Cons: Sheath
Beautiful knife with a serious oversight
The pros: Design based on the designer's own custom of the same name but with even more intricate milling. Blade is razor sharp and edge is finished perfectly. Great weight and good sound on open. Black stonewash finish and contouring are superb. The cons: Serious hotspot where the milled sweeping line intersects the lockbar and guard; the channel creates a pointy corner right by the index finger on open (serious oversight). The flipper sometimes will open halfway due to the design of the lockbar, however a slight wrist flick usually guarantees smoothness. Steel lockbar spacer could be clunky at disengage. Crowned top edge of the blade is slightly uneven with the right side being higher. Lastly, for this price it came in a $30 knife box with no sheath. Like seriously? My $50 Chinese knives came with bags and pouches. Verdict: still loving it.
