Solid
This knife reminds me of a Buck knife, but of much higher quality than any Buck I’ve owned. The fit and finish is good. One scale was ever so slightly raised beyond the bolster and maybe a half turn of the screw will align it perfectly. The back of the bade and the spine are beautiful and functional with a rounded off mirrored polish. Even the inside of the liner it has a mirror finish. When open, the gap between the spine and the blade disappears into the jimping showing off attention to detail. The blade made with M390 is sharp and functional with the relatively thin flat grind. My favorite part is the beautiful carbon scales that blend into the titanium bolsters. The sheath is fine for protecting the knife when thrown into the “knife box” but mostly the knife will sit in the bottom of my pocket. There is no pocket clip which makes it great for an inside-the-pocket knife. It’s not a flipper and takes some force to open but not too much. There is a thumbnail groove to assist with opening but you can easily just pinch the blade without using your thumbnail to extend the blade. Overall it feels solid yet light.
