Awesome EDC Knife
I wanted an EDC folder with Magnacut blade steel and a thicker blade than my other Magnacut folders, for a reasonable price and the Vale delivers. I bought the vale with the black Sure Touch handles and they are very comfortable and provide a sure grip. This is now my primary Edc folder. It's beautiful, practical and well-made like all Viper knives. Though I prefer Magnacut steel I still love and use my Viper Storm with M-390 blade steel. The blade; on my Vale is centered and opens easily; for me, using either the thumb studs or flipper and the liner lock provides a positive lock up. My primary uses are opening mail, breaking down boxes and some minor food prep. As expected the Magnacut blade is holding it's edge well and I don't have to worry about it tarnishing. I simply wipe off the blade with a paper towel when necessary. I love this knife so much, I bought another with Pau Rose wood handles, which arrived today. Knife Centers customer service is excellent.
