Surprisingly poor action for a We Knife

I'm sure it will break in, but out of the box the action on this knife isn't smooth. Especially compared to other WE, Civivi, and even Sencut knives, this was pretty shocking. Very sharp out of the box. Nice, simple design with some nice flourishes. On Sale, I'm okay with the outcome, but if I paid a normal price I would have returned this on principle that knives in this price category should all be great out of the box.
