Great Color and Steel add to the Awesomeness!!
I'm a big fan of Civivi and We knives and have multiple models from Elementum, to Cogent, Altus, Baby Banter and many more. This is a great example of what this company can do! Great materials, slick action and attractive aesthetics. It fills the hand really well thanks to the tall handles. The blade came exceptionally sharp and the black finish is really well done. It is a great example of what a modern day EDC should be. Thank you Knifecenter sand thank you We Knives!!!

Excellent Banter
The WE Banter is a very good looking knife, but it is also very useful, I use mine mostly for opening and cutting up boxes, cutting rope, and occasionally zip ties, and it never fails me. It has very good edge retention and only needs to be sharpened for a few minutes, and it's razor sharp just like it came out of the box. I highly recommend the Banter, either for an every day user, or even as a little show off piece.

Perfect EDC
I am a hobby collector and EDC carrier. In my opinion the WE Banter is perfect. Good blade length, legal in most states. It has a robust build. Perfectly centered blade with no slop what so ever. I have more expensive knives in my collection but this is my favorite. Love the weight, bladedesign and ease of opening and closing. I admit the lock can be a bit stiff but I don't see it as a problem as it gets easier with use. It could also be used as a defensive weapon if needed. I also own the Civivi baby banter and it too is a favorite of mine. The Banter just adds some beef and a larger blade. I like shopping the Knife Center as they always have a great selection with good prices and they ship fast!

Great knife with one flaw
I've been eying the Banter for a while and almost picked up a Baby Banter when Civivi released that last year. But seeing this exclusive version with upgraded steel and a cool colorway was enough to finally push me over the edge. For the most part, I'm really impressed with the banter. It feels sturdy but not too heavy. It's surprisingly ergonomic for having such an unusual handle shape. It carries very well. The action is terrific and the blade is very slicey. Basically, all good qualities for a general EDC knife. My one issue is that the lockbar is a little difficult to close one-handed. It requires a decent amount of force and winds up irritating my thumb after repeated use. I have no experience with the regular version of the Banter, but from what I understand that's always been an issue and was supposed to have been addressed with this revision. If this is an improvement, I'd hate to handle the original. But seeing as how I like this knife enough that I've already ordered some custom scales, it's hardly a deal-breaker.

Finally a Banter for me.
I wanted to own a Banter from its first release, but as I am left handed and only buy knives with reversible clips, this looked to be on my want but never have list. This was made worse as I did try out a friends 35vn Banter and was immediately jealous. Well, now I have one and it is good. I use it for everything because the blade is so stout, no fear it won’t be up to the task at hand. I also like the “buried” liner lock because it makes holding the knife even more comfortable. I am only giving it four stars because of the weight not being what was advertised in the specs. Knifecenter spec lists it at 2.56 ounces, but mine is 3.08 ounces on each of the three scales I own. That is not a small difference, but even so I would not trade it in for anything, only beg We to build a LH version of the 35vn so I can buy one in Ben Blue.

Slightly disappointed
Knife is well made and fits hand well for a small knife but when it arrived it tested 364 on average on my Bess sharpness tester which is pretty poor but after resharpening it is now at 107 on the scale and is remaining sharp after some moderate use.

Liner lock is a thumb wrecker
I have used this as a light to medium use EDC with a fair amount of outdoor work. Love the color, the blade shape & steel, the grip & the opening action. The liner lock is by far the worst of the 10 liner lock knives that I own. It’s really a shame as I otherwise really like this little knife but closing it is just a misery, usually takes 2 hands and even a couple trys. What a disappointment - especially for a WE Knife Center exclusive & for the price. It’s heading to my “less favored knives” storage drawer.

Dull on arrival
I own all of the we banter in s30v And those came razor sharp. I don’t know what the hype is about CPM 20 V but this is super disappointing. Will be returning this one.
