Great knife! Perfect except for the very stiff flipping action.
I have hundreds of pocket knives, with Spydercos spending the most time in my pocket for the last few years. I've tried many others, but I've kept going back to my Manix 2 for around the house and my Sage 3 for when I'm out and about. This my first We knife and -- wow. It is the most serious competition I've found yet for my Spydercos. It feels great. I love the blade design. It was paper-shaving sharp right out of the box. Fantastic! My one and only complaint is the stiffness of the flipper action. When I first got it, my index finger hurt from the effort required to flip it open. After applying some KPL (Knife Pivot Lube) oil and working it for a while, it got easier. It's still a little stiffer than I would like, but at least it's now usable. It's been riding in my pocket for a couple of days, and I find myself looking for things to use it on. I'd give it 4.5 stars out of 5, with the only deduction being for that very stiff flipper action. Otherwise -- wow! Great knife.
