Great knife!

If you get tired of 4mm blade stock on an EDC (as I do), then this is the knife for you! A thin blade of hollow ground M390 makes this a terrific slicer. Heavily milled liners give you a very light knife in the pocket AND I can find absolutely no branding on the blade - only the WE logo on the pivot screw and pocket clip. This makes for a very clean looking knife. Speaking of appearance, this knife is pretty mundane and certainly won't attract much attention when you take it out of your pocket, but the typical WE quality is obvious. One factor that you may want to consider is the detent - it's about 4-5 on a scale of 10 - perfect for me, but probably not for everyone. I highly recommend this model!

Impressive

Needed a replacement for my everyday beater kershaw to keep from boogering up my nicer knives on the job, and this was on special right at $100 with m390 steel, so I figured I'd give it a try. I was skeptical about buying Chinese, but I'm pretty impressed with the quality, fit and finish. It's a good looking knife too; looks better in person than in the pictures. Blade is perfectly centered, grind is good and even on both sides and edge was very sharp out of the box; just a few light swipes on the strop and had a razor edge. Detent is just right on mine, and flips open with a nice satisfying "thwack". Lock is rock solid with absolutely no blade wiggle in any direction. I'd say this is a great deal even when not on sale, and it has ceramic bearings to boot. I love my zt's, and they're nicer knives (at a much higher price point), but ceramic would be a nice touch on the zt's fellas ! All in all, the Practic is a good substitute if you need a stunt double for your zt452
