Cool pen pocket choice

I was looking for another one of these because I like to hook em to my flight jacket arm pocket. I wanted a pen with a cap and and a keychain hole. Too bad they choose to build this around a standard short ball pen refill, they SHOULD have made tube tiny bit wider and put a spacer to accommodate standard ballpoint refill OR a better short pen refill like a Lamy m22.. The bamboo look is pretty awesome tho. Easy design fix… this was made by knife guys remember. The refill is working ok tho and I have had this for a couple years so whatever…I’m not really writing any speeches with this anyways…(maybe one day)

Terrible writing quality

I'm glad that I bought this on sale and didn't pay full price. While the build quality seems robust and durable, it's a bit of a pain to unscrew the cap, but you're not going to accidentally lose it. It's a really ridiculous design flaw that the cap does not fit over the other end to give you a longer pen to write with. They really missed an opportunity there. This pen is really short, and being able to extend the length when writing like that would have made a big difference. But even if that design flaw was fixed, at the end of the day I would not be using this pen. The writing quality is awful! It's scratchy rather than smooth, skips terribly and as someone who often gets complimented on my handwriting I tell you, EVERYTHING I write with this pen looks ugly. It's a broad tip, with scratchy uneven flow and it skips to the point where you will be frustrated. I came with an extra refill, and I've tried that too. It has the exact same issues.
