WINDMILL DELTA (BLACK) SHOCKPROOF/STORMPROOF BUTANE LIGHTER

THIS IS A SURVIVAL LIGHTER; I PACK IT WITH WATERPROOF MATCHES, PLUMBER'S CANDLE, VASELINE'D COTTON BALLS, LARGE MAGNESIUM ROD AND FLINT. IT'S VIRTUALLY INDESTRUCTIBLE. IT'S BUILT LIKE THE PROVERBIAL BRICK SCHEISTHAUS, VERY SMALL, AND IT WEIGHS ABOUT 2 OUNCES FUELED. IT'S A NO-BRAINER TO OPERATE, AND THE PRINCIPLES BY WHICH IT OPERATES ARE SIMPLE, SO IT'S EXTREMELY RELIABLE. EQUALLY AT HOME FOR A LIGHTER FOR THE OCCASIONAL CIGAR, IT TOASTS CIGARS PROFESSIONALLY. MINE IS IDENTICAL WITH THE PICTURE. YOU NEED ONE OF THESE FOR RE-RE-REDUNDANCY. THERE IS NO QUESTION THAT THIS WILL WORK WHEN I NEED IT TO, WHICH IS WHY I PACK IT AND CARRY IT.

10 year anniversary!

I have had my WINDMILL ALPHA for 10 years now and it is still going strong as it was on the day I purchased it WINDMILL has a lifetime warranty on it's products so I don't understand why the person who rated it as terrible went out and bought a second one.

Wicked Lighter

The lighter itself rocks. Lights in high winds and stays lit until you stop the flame. Durable, fun to play with, and especially good for fuel consumption, I'd recommend this lighter for sure. The only downside is it's very high price.

Terrible

Yes, I'm aware people will tear this review apart. I'm aware that perhaps the 2 that I have owned were bad apples. I doubt it. You are better off buying a bulk pack of bic lighters and carrying a firesteel. It uses cheap parts as everything these days. Mine stopped working after 2 days. The second one I bought stopped working after 2 days and the ignition button broke. It's amazing how people are duped into buying something. It's more amazing that people have had success with such a poorly constructed, cheap part, item.. Good Luck. Don't take my word for it.
