Great results for the money
I'm new to knife collecting and was looking for a method easier than whetstones and not as aggressive as a belt sharpener. Other units you need to align and move rods across a fixed blade and to me that's more complicated than using the guides in this Benchstone. Pros: Good price, very effective. I've been able to get my knives to shave your forearm sharp. Careful! I sharpened a machete and while cleaning it with a heavy towel cloth it went through the cloth and cut my finger. Cons: The magnet on the yellow 20/25 degree guides is not very strong. I'm possibly applying too much pressure. I wish it was longer and wider ideally 10" x 2.5" for my bigger knives and tools.
