did the job they advertise, but frayed immediately

Did the job they advertise, but frayed immediately. Strands of canvas frayed off immediately upon starting the grinder and they kept whipping my hand and knife until they broke off. Now the edges are frayed and not clean. Not a major issue as much as an annoyance. At this price, this should not happen. Works good though,
