This is superstar
For about 4 years now, I’ve been trying to find that “one” knife, that just does it all. Occasional belt carry, grab n go woods adventures, camp use, bushcraft tinkering and possible survival use. Have had and used multiples of all the popular fixed blades, including falkniven, terrava, gerber, reiff, mora, bark river, lt wright, kizer, joker, ontario, kabar, tops, trc, bradford, coldsteel, olive, esee, etc. I am a professional knife sharpener, as a side gig. Perfect edges are my goal. Many, even high end, knoves have flaws that reveal themselves during the sharpening process. This Ursus 45 was the closest to absolute geometric perfection I have ever seen. Just straight up stellar craftsmanship. The grip is so excellent, even for my xxL paws. Burlap micarta, excellebt. Shape of grip, awesome, although skeptical at first, once in hand, I knew, it just fits and works. This is the sharpest knife edge I’ve ever seen, from a maker. Reiffs are pretty close. I can make sharperr, but very impressive outa the box. Sheath is very excellent. I also got s jre dangler (version ex), that it fits in perfectly. Cuting, slicing, carving, chopping, just fantadtic. Normally I have to sharpen the spines, but this is as sharp as mechanically possible (same or better than lt wright, mora garberg), just throws fiery molten inferno from fire steels. Magnacut is great. Can’t wait for msgnamax to come out soon also..,, Highly recommend!!
