Wusthof kitchen shears
I use my Wusthof kitchen shears to cut thin strips of meat and chicken. They are well made and come apart for easy cleaning. I gave 4 of these to friends last year.

high-quality kitchen shears
The materials and workmanship of these shears is top-notch. The come-apart feature is both a plus and a minus. For normal cutting, they hold together perfectly. However, if you open the scissors to the widest point (just past 90°), they come right apart. So, if one needed to use these scissors in that way, it would be easier to just use each part like a knife, rather than to try to keep the scissors together when opened very wide. Overall, I would have to say they come apart too easily. Also, the pair I received didn't have a "bone-notch" in the blade, like the shears in the picture. Overall, 4.5 stars.
