Oldie but a Goodie
Bought mine in September of 2001 still use it. Zippos are the Volkswagen of the lighter world. You can always find parts and you can easily maintain them yourself. I have never had to claim the warranty actually forgot about it till I read your description. I don't know if there have been minor changes over the past 20 plus years? Only thing to mind is that they can dry out fast but they're so easy to refuel not a biggie.
