ZT 0203 DuraLock
Personally, I like Zero Tolerance knives due to their rugged, sturdy build, and the unmistakable tactile sensation of having a substantial tool in my hand. Premium steals, excellent craftsmanship and durability are a ZT given. There are other brands and smaller Zero Tolerance knives that are well-made, and well-crafted; I’m just partial to the industrial-strength variety. They remind the holder of the steroid-using weightlifter who has spent years in the gym. I like the large bolt at the joint and the metallic thud when it snaps out of the frame into a locked position. I have a number of Zero Tolerance knives, and have just added the ZT 0203 DuraLock. It is now my favorite. It’s lighter and more pocket-friendly than the 0308, yet as tactical and rugged. There is an odd thing about knives. Every knife has some outstanding features, but in the end, there is a certain unique feel, a visual and tactile experience to the knife you like that is very personal, and that feeling surpasses the physical qualities of the knife. Like relationships, it’s a combination of quality, how it looks and how it feels. For me, the ZT 0203 has this quality.
