Excelent

Indeed very well built , solid , well centered , easy to open , good size blade and handle , bigger than expected , like it . I have large size hands and I think is perfect size flipper .After inspection , I can say I didn't see anything wrong , excellent quality , very satisfied here. The carbon fiber handle has a good enough grip. It also can have 550 lanyard easily attached .Zero Tolerance provide again 5 stars quality .Thank you ZT.

Outstanding knife, but a bit slippery in the hands

I have a bunch of Emerson knives, but the ZT collaboration out does the original in all ways but one: 154cm vs. M390. Liner lock vs. Frame lock. G10 Scales vs. Ti and CF. The only complaint about the knife? The CF scale is too smooth - hard to grab and extract the knife from pants with reinforced pocket lips (pants designed for carrying knives are problematic-a bit ironic, no?). I doubt one would have good grip if the knife were wet. If you want tactical, stay with the original Emerson. For tacti-cool, this knife is beatiful.

First high end knife

This is my first high end knife. The combination of the M390 steel, Emerson wave feature and ZT's built like a tank design along with top quality materials sold me on this knife. Overall I am extremely pleased. Razor sharp, locks solid as a fixed blade when it's open. Opening the knife using the wave feature is effortless. My only gripe is that it's almost impossible to open this knife with using only my thumb on the round disc on top of the blade. I found that using my thumb on one side and index finger on the other side to get the blade to start opening and then let my thumb finish pushing it open works well. It just sucks when I show someone my new knife and they can't open it with one hand easily. Hopefully it breaks in and it won't be an issue in the future.

Almost perfect tactical blade

The blade is for work. It is not an everyday carry knife, but if I'm wearing pants with more cargo space then it goes along with me. The gimping on top of the blade is useless. It is smooth, and there is no traction to it whatsoever. Also the metal liner on the carbon fiber side could have been killed out to reduce weight some. This is a 6.5 ounce knife, and any weight savings would have been appreciated. Why ZT didn't mill the liners on this knife, but milled out the liner on the 0560/0561 is beyond me. Those are the only two gripes I have with the knife. The rest I love. M390 steel is amazing. The high quality build construction and materials are awesome. The action is smooth and flys from the handle using the thumb disk. The Emerson wave feature is also awesome, and it deploys the knife faster than an auto. Overall great knife just beefy and heavier than necessary.

looks like a beast...I guess...

looks great.... but after cutting thru cardboard 20 times and I cut paper the knife was tearing the paper and it is supposedly a very sharp knife... maybe m390 isnt such a big deal??? my kershaw cqc holds a better edge than this... I guess I really paid for the carbon fiber and titanium and a beefy shaped blade but the blade isnt that great. I dont think it was worth the money.
