Tactical Elegance
Just received this knife today. Good ole USPS had delivered it to the wrong address, so it was a couple days late. But as they say..."Good things come to those who wait". And in this case...Great things! I say "Tactical Elegance" because a tactical knife usually has the longer blade length, but lacks the "Elegance" of a Gentlemen's knife. However in this case you get both a 3.5" razor sharp blade, yet overall slender, with the lightweight elegance of a carbon fiber & milled Ti handle. Deployment is lighting fast & smooth (I love a good manual flipper knife). Topped off with a shortened & discreet deep carry pocket clip. This thing literally disappears in your pocket. I definitely see this as being my new EDC...or at least pulling double duty with my Spyderco Para 3 lightweight. I work in an office, but often find myself venturing out into the shop. I've used this so far to cut open a few boxes & some plastic strapping. The slightest amount of pressure is all that's needed. I have full confidence the CPM-20CV blade will hold its edge for quite some time. This knife isn't designed for heavy duty work as the blade is a tad thin for such applications & a bit pointy. But I can think of very few things it wouldn't be able to tackle within the work scope of an Office setting/Shipping & Receiving environment. Feels as though it would be equally at home riding in a pair of slacks or blue jeans pocket. I 100% recommend shelling out the rather heavy coin it will take to purchase this knife. I actually own one, unlike some reviews
This knife is absolutely outstanding! It's one of ZTs best knives in my humble opinion. ZT was always known for over build hard knives that could be used as a club as well as a knife. This knife is sleek and light weight, with premium steel CPM20cv (m390). I LOVE THESE STEELS. Not only that but on this knife in this profile is an absolute BOSS! Benchmade is now selling s90v bugouts for over 200$ about the same price as this knife. If ZT had a clue they would be pushing the 0707 as a bugout DESTROYER, none of the problems better blade geometry, slightly bigger blade, still Ti and CF handle, even more slicey just a an all around excellent knife. WORTH EVERY PENNY AND THEN SOME!

Excellent Except Clip
Really like the knife, don't like the pocket clip. The knife hides in pocket really good but it's very hard to get it out. I wear genuine military camo pants with slanted pockets so the knife is tucked in the bottom of the slant. Hard to get my thumb on the knife and trigger finger on the clip because the clip is so small. Haven't found aftermarket clip because 0707 is so new.

The pinnacle of excellency
This knife is absolutely fantastic in every way. I hope ZT keeps this in production going forward however I know a part of that depends on how well it sells. If you are a nit picky knife guy like me, this is one for your collection. The blade is perfectly centered, perfectly symmetrical grind lines, the ergonomics are wonderful with no hot spots, the pocket clip is great. Finally! We have a short, deep carry pocket clip option. Please, don't listen to those who give this product a bad review if they don't even own it. They have no experience with it so their opinion is void. The TDS is a joy to use as well; I expect they might use this on future models. Thank you Zero Tolerance and Knifecenter as always!!

Tiny details reveal excellent design and construction
I bought this ZT 0707 in June of 2023. It was on sale for $239 (that's 33% off) and DCA's video overview made for an easy purchase decision. I agree with the other reviews here: the 0707 is light, elegant, pointy, easy to carry and difficult to open for the first couple of months. What I wish to share is how it's many tiny details reveal the excellent design and construction. KnifeCenter has excellent product photos! Check the ridges machined in the lockbar relief. Look for the lockbar insert protecting the titanium lockbar. It also elegantly functions as the lockbar stabilizer preventing over-extension. The fact that ZT offers this knife made from expensive materials, with excellent design and unique details is amazing. If any one tried, I would expect two to three times more expense! Thanks ZT for this great knife and thanks KnifeCenter for the usual great service!

unique, outstanding 3.5" EDC
Disregard my previous critiques about the blade not locking up. However, a ZT tech answered my email, and suggested look for debris in lockup area. Sure enough, I picked a tiny piece of felt cleaning cloth out with a toothpick ... and it flicks open and locks easily every time. It's a great 3.5" slicer, and hides in a shirt pocket like a pen. I carry a little titanium pry bar on my keyring as would never want to pry and damage the great blade on the 0707. If this one ever gets away from me I hope there would still be one ... somewhere.

Nice Knife
I love everything about this knife and will definitely be in the rotation as soon as I build up the finger strength to open it successfully every time. OMG, this is a M'Fer to get open. Maybe I got one that needs a bit more breaking it but holy crap this one sux to get open rt now. Everything else on this knife is flawless!

Outstanding dress EDC ... until ....
This became my favorite, discreet, 3.5" blade EDC ... for the first three weeks. Premium materials, ZT fit and finish. Then one day the blade failed to lock up. The titanium lock is a hair, and I mean a hair, too long to swing over and lock the open blade. Have tried every gentle means ... no joy. If anyone knows how to remedy this, please post, as I otherwise really like this knife.

Beautiful knife with a flaw
This is a beautiful sleek looking knife. Feels good in my hand. But it's major flaw is the clip. Tiny and very stiff. I broke mine trying to get it in/out of my pocket. The clip attaches inside the liner. I know of no third party that makes clips for this knife. So you are stuck with the ZT factory clip. I just ground off the broken stub of my clip.

Wicked!
This is a very thin knife that is long, but skinny and takes up little pocket space. It is made of premium materials and the price reflects that fact. It came to me "hair popping" sharp with an impressively pointy tip. The Carbon Fiber and Titanium frame are top notch. But there are some cons, and enough of them that I have to knock it by at least a point. The frame lock barely engages with the blade to lock it into place, and it's not confidence inspiring, to be honest. I see a screw in the titanium lock that might adjust the engagement, so I'll see if that helps. The clip is stupid stiff and I don't know who this is supposed to be for. If I manage to get it over my pocket, I might not ever get it back out again!

Man I want one but....
The instant I saw it I knew I wanted it. I’ve been wanting a knife with these attributes for some time. But damn man $248!? I can’t justify it. Gave 3 stars as it’s as non comital as one can get. I’m sure it’s an awesome knife I love ZT just won’t get to have this one.

Love it, but ....
I've had the 0707 for only two weeks, and it became my favorite "discreet" slicer ... until it ceased to lock up because the blade and lock-up bar now overlap by the tiniest amount, and therefore the bar can't set. I suspect (hope) there's some adjustment that can be made ... but until then the knife is a dangerous, floppy folder. Since ZT has discontinued their sleek lightweight with premium materials, I can't get anyone to give me advice fix. If fixable, I'd give the 0707 a 5+.
