CIVIVI Knives Sokoke Front Flippers

The CIVIVI Sokoke series features dual deployment options, including a front flipper and thumb studs. Both methods benefit from a ball-bearing pivot that provides a smooth and snappy manual action for the 3.35-inch blade.

The series primarily uses Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel or Damascus steel. The Damascus options are based on a 9Cr stainless steel core, providing performance levels similar to 440C, while the 14C28N versions offer a great balance of edge retention and corrosion resistance. The Sokoke includes a reversible deep-carry pocket clip, allowing for tip-up carry on either side. However, the inset liner lock is right-hand biased, meaning the locking mechanism is optimized for right-handed closing even though the carry position is ambidextrous.

Every Sokoke features a drop point blade with a full-height flat grind and an almost full-length swedge. This geometry creates a very thin and sharp edge, making the Sokoke an excellent slicer for common daily tasks.

The Sokoke is favored for its functional design and high value, offering a Ray Laconico aesthetic at an accessible price point. With options for G10 or Micarta handles, it provides excellent ergonomics and a secure grip in a package designed to just downright get the job done.
