Are the handle scales on the Tokala comfortable for heavy use?
The Tokala features Bison Micarta handle scales that have a burlap-like texture while remaining smooth and comfortable. The scales are bolted on and then sanded flush with the spine to eliminate hot spots and ensure there are no gaps between the material and the full-tang steel.
