Heretic Hydra Series

To fire the Heretic Hydra, you slide the safety cover to the side and press the button. To retract the blade, you depress the button to release the lock and pull the charging handle at the bottom of the frame until the spring is reset.

The main advantage of the Hydra's single-action design is its incredible deployment power. Because the knife does not need internal springs to retract the blade automatically, all of the spring tension is dedicated to firing it forward, resulting in a much harder, faster, and more secure lockup than standard double-action OTF knives.

Heretic Hydra blades feature robust, meaty profiles such as recurved and tanto shapes with a stout flat grind. These blades are left relatively thick behind the edge, prioritizing brute force and durability for heavy-duty tasks over precision slicing.

The Heretic Hydra uses a sliding safety cover that sits directly over the firing button. This guard must be slid to the side to access the button, preventing the single-action automatic knife from deploying accidentally while in a pocket or during handling.
