Kansept Knives Rafe Flipper

The hook on the spine of the Kansept Rafe functions as a bottle opener, a pocket deployer, and a front flipper. For safety, it is highly recommended to use the bottle opener feature while the blade is closed to prevent accidental lock disengagement. When used as a pocket deployer, it works similarly to an Emerson wave feature, though its forward placement on the spine gives it a distinct opening action.

The Kansept Rafe features a 2.6-inch CPM-S35VN stainless steel blade in a sheepsfoot profile. It is ground from thick blade stock, giving this compact pocket knife a robust, hard-use feel.

The Kansept Rafe utilizes a liner lock to prevent your grip from interfering with the opening action. On smaller folding knives with compact handles, a frame lock can easily be squeezed by your fingers during deployment, which pinches the detent ball and makes the blade hard to open. The recessed liner lock solves this problem entirely.

The Kansept Rafe series offers a variety of handle options, including bead-blasted titanium, anodized titanium, and canvas Micarta. Some premium variants in the series also feature copper foil carbon fiber handle overlays.
