Kansept Tuckamore Series FAQ

Designed by Jonathan Styles, the Kansept Tuckamore pairs a straight-edge sheepsfoot blade with contoured titanium construction and smooth ball-bearing action.

What blade shape and steel does the Kansept Tuckamore use?
The Kansept Tuckamore features a 3.54-inch sheepsfoot blade ground from either CPM-20CV stainless steel or Damascus. Its straight cutting edge excels at clean utility cuts and push cuts, while CPM-20CV delivers high wear resistance and excellent edge retention.
What handle materials are available on the Tuckamore?
All Kansept Tuckamore knives use a solid titanium frame lock handle fitted with decorative inlays. Depending on the model, inlay choices include brown Micarta, shredded carbon fiber, copper carbon fiber, Jungle Wear FatCarbon, or vibrant Timascus.
How does the Kansept Tuckamore deploy?
The Tuckamore opens using an elongated blade cutout riding on ceramic ball bearings in the pivot. It deploys easily with a middle-finger reverse flick or a standard thumb roll, locking securely in place with a solid titanium frame lock.
How are the ergonomics on the Tuckamore?
The Tuckamore offers versatile ergonomics centered around a broad forward finger groove that comfortably fits various hand sizes without feeling restrictive. 3D-contoured handle scales and additional spine jimping ensure a confident grip during detailed cutting tasks.
Why does the price vary across different Tuckamore models?
Price differences across the lineup are determined by the rarity of the materials used in each build. Work-ready models with Micarta or carbon fiber inlays start around the $180 mark, while high-end collector versions with Damascus blades and Timascus inlays and pocket clips reach closer to $390.
