Designed by Jacob Lundquist, the QSP Vault pairs an ambidextrous crossbar locking mechanism with premium materials like aluminum bolsters and Sandvik 14C28N blade steel.

What type of lock does the QSP Vault use?
The QSP Vault utilizes an ambidextrous crossbar lock, which QSP refers to as the Glyde Lock. Rather than simple cylindrical studs, it uses contoured thumb plates featuring concentric milled grooves for an ergonomic, positive grip when disengaging the blade.
What blade steel is used on the QSP Vault?
The QSP Vault features a 3.25-inch drop point blade ground from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel. Built with a high flat grind, the blade profile provides excellent slicing geometry and dependable edge retention for daily cutting tasks.
What handle options are available on the Vault series?
The Vault series is built with lightweight aluminum bolsters paired with scales in either canvas Micarta or foiled G10. Choices include black, tan, or green canvas Micarta, along with copper foil and aluminum foil G10 options.
Is the QSP Vault fully ambidextrous?
Yes, the QSP Vault is designed for complete ambidextrous operation. In addition to dual-sided crossbar lock access, the knife includes a tail-mounted deep-carry pocket clip that is fully reversible for left- or right-handed carry.
What kind of pivot system does the QSP Vault have?
The Vault runs on ball bearings in the pivot assembly to ensure fluid, consistent deployment. The resulting action provides a balanced feel that combines the rapid swing of bearings with the controlled glide typical of washer-based pivots.
