Reiff Knives F6 Leuku Survival Knife

The F6 Leuku is designed as an all-around outdoor and survival knife suited for bushcraft, campsite tasks, and light chopping. Its six-inch drop point blade features a saber flat grind that balances slicing performance with durability. The forward balance allows you to choke back on the handle for limb clearing while maintaining enough tip control for detailed wood carving.

Current F6 Leuku models from Reiff Knives are crafted from CPM-3V tool steel. This powder-metallurgy steel is prized in survival knives for its extreme impact toughness and resistance to chipping under hard use. Depending on the variant, blades are finished with an acid stonewash or a protective DLC coating in black or Flat Dark Earth (FDE).

The F6 Leuku handle is generously sized with a palm swell designed to fit larger hands and heavy gloves comfortably. Fitted with contoured canvas Micarta or G10 scales, the grip provides substantial purchase with extra length behind the palm. This prevents hand fatigue and ensures complete control whether working barehanded or wearing winter work gloves.

The factory spine is slightly radiused for comfort, so throwing sparks may require light tuning on a sharpening stone. The smoothed corners protect your thumb during heavy push cuts, but if striking a firesteel is a priority, running the spine flat across a stone for a few minutes creates the crisp 90-degree edge needed for fire lighting.

The F6 Leuku is available with either an ambidextrous Kydex sheath or a premium leather sheath. The leather option includes a dangler loop that keeps the knife clear of pack hip belts as well as an integrated ferro rod loop. The ambidextrous Kydex sheath offers rigid retention and all-weather durability for modular carry.
