StraightLine EDC Digger FAQ

Designed as a pocket-friendly fixed blade, the StraightLine EDC Digger pairs a full-tang Sandvik 14C28N spey blade with an innovative magnetic leather pocket sheath. It delivers dependable cutting performance and compact carry ergonomics for everyday utility.

What steel does the StraightLine EDC Digger use?
The StraightLine EDC Digger uses Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel. This steel offers high toughness and solid corrosion resistance, complementing the full-tang build for demanding daily cutting tasks.
What blade shape does the Digger have?
The Digger features a broad spey blade profile with a full flat grind and a stonewashed finish that masks scratches. The profile offers plenty of belly for slicing tasks and small game processing, while mid-mounted spine jimping provides control for heavy push cuts or delicate tip work.
How does the handle grip work on the Digger?
The Digger uses a three-finger handle profile to keep the knife compact in pocket, backed by an included lanyard that provides a fourth-finger purchase. The lanyard can be shortened or removed to fit individual preference, and handle options across the series include canvas Micarta and black G10.
How does the Digger pocket sheath work?
The included Italian-made leather pocket sheath secures to your pocket using an integrated magnetic closure. It features a two-position magnet system that allows you to configure the knife for standard pocket access or a deeper, more discreet carry.
Who manufactures the StraightLine EDC Digger?
The Digger is manufactured by Bestech Knives for StraightLine EDC. The design is a direct collaboration between StraightLine EDC founder Igor Bhortuci and David C. Andersen.
