What steel does the Toor Shifter use?
The Toor Shifter series uses CPM-M4 tool steel, which offers exceptional edge retention and high toughness. Because CPM-M4 is not stainless, the blades are coated to guard against moisture and rust during daily carry.
How thick is the blade on the Toor Shifter?
The Shifter is built from 5/32-inch thick stock along the full tang spine for heavy-duty strength. A distal taper thins the blade out toward the point and edge, keeping the cutting geometry efficient despite the robust stock.
What blade shapes and variants are available in the Shifter lineup?
The lineup includes the tanto blade Shifter T as well as the trailing point Shifter S, both featuring 2.75-inch blades. Handles are made with aggressively textured G10 in colors such as Black, Ranger Green, and Flat Dark Earth with contrasting liner accents.
What makes the Toor Shifter Kydex sheath unique?
The included Kydex sheath features internal felt-style pads that cushion the blade and eliminate the loud click typical of standard Kydex. This quiet design allows for smooth, discreet draws and re-sheathing.
What mounting hardware fits the Toor Shifter sheath?
The sheath accepts small Tek-Lok attachments, Civivi T-Clips, and various Ulticlip hardware, though full-sized Tek-Loks will not fit the hole spacing. The perimeter eyelets also allow you to attach a lanyard or chain for neck carry.
