Think slim! The Harbinger S (Slim) is for those times when the mission/task requires an exceptionally tough fixed blade but need it to be a little more low-profile. The Harbinger S is built from industry-leading Crucible CPM-S30V in a state-of-the-art facility before being heat treated and hardened to a 57-58 Rockwell hardness with the additional step of adding a -300° cryogenic bath for the ultimate in durability and edge retention. Its 0.16" thick blade is slimmed down just slightly from the Harbinger and the Harbinger REX’s blade thickness of 0.20" for a more compact yet extremely strong package. The Harbinger S is considered by many of their field testers to be the "sweet spot" in the Atlas Dynamic Defense lineup. It's a purposefully overbuilt, combat and field fixed blade and includes a nice Kydex sheath with Tek-Lok attachment. Built to the most demanding standards, the Harbinger is part of Atlas Dynamic Defense's 2016 debut to the tactical knife community. This knife has been extensively field-tested in the rugged environment of the Southern Appalachians and is currently being tested in the jungles of Central America.

As with all Atlas Dynamic Defense knives, their patent pending Atlas hardware makes each model's handle scales user-serviceable and removable without the use of specialized tooling. To remove, change the scales or wrap the handle in 550 paracord, the user can simply use a coin, rifle/pistol cartridge or another flat object to spin the exterior hardware. It's simple, quick and can be done in the field. Each knife can be lashed to a pole or made into a spear easily in extreme survival situations.
