Demko Knives

The AD20.5 by Demko Knives features the impressive Shark Lock and an even more impressive price point. After handling a plethora of MG AD20s, we can safely say that this is a very dutiful representation of that awesome mid-tech design. It's slightly smaller all-around and definitely thinner, which makes this much more suited for everyday carry than tactical encounters. The Shark Lock mechanism is situated on the spine of the knife and operated with a ramp-like ‘fin', allowing you to flip the blade open and closed at will. It's probably the best thing about this knife and design, how quickly it can be deployed and ready for action. It acts as a blade launcher and a little wrist action is all it needs. The AD20.5 is available in two variations, a clip point and a shark foot sheepsfoot, and we really can't think of a way to improve either one. The AD20.5 is incredible and made even better with a hard-working CPM-3V tool steel blade.

I Love This Knife
This knife is is good enough to earn a prominent place in my EDC rotation. The lock mechanism is strong, precise, and fluid. It is very fidgety and fun to play with. The blade is well ground as is the edge. It arrived very sharp. The polish on the blade is very high, but short of mirror. It was my first 3V blade. The blade is strong, tough, and sharp. It takes a great deal of cutting for it to dull even slightly. Despite using a lot, I have never needed to sharpen it, but I have stropped it a few times to keep it razor sharp. I oil the blade occasionally to prevent rust; 3V is not stainless. That is the only downside to the material. I think it is worth it for the toughness and edge retention. The milling in the G10 scales gives the knife excellent grip. It feels great in my hands. I am ambidextrous and it works perfectly in either of my hands. If you are a lefty, this knife is great.Overall, I love, love, love this knife. In addition to always wanting a 3V knife, I had always wanted a Demko knife. This is the real deal!
