ADKSC20BKZSL: Shark-Cub Slicer Shark Folding Knife - Black Grivory

Demko Knives

The Shark-Cub by Demko Knives is the compact companion to the original AD20.5, offering a more user-friendly handle shape. The AD20.5, renowned for its remarkable Shark Lock mechanism, now has an equally impressive smaller sibling with an equally enticing price point. With a slightly reduced overall size and a thinner profile, the Shark Cub is designed for everyday carry but can also perform exceptionally well in a last-ditch tactical scenario.

The standout Shark Lock feature is ingeniously positioned along the knife's spine and operates effortlessly with its distinctive 'fin' lever, enabling swift blade deployment and closure at your command. Its speed, precision, and ease of use under pressure truly set it apart from the crowd. The AD20.5's excellence now has a compact counterpart in the Shark-Cub, ready for the hunt. Doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo.

Perfect knife for me
I carry this knife on my tool belt and it's perfect for this purpose. Light weight, easily fits in a tool pouch pocket, easy to open and close. The blade is high quality, not too long and not too short, and the grip is good.

Very Similar to a SpyderCo Delica
If you like the SpyderCo saber ground Delica, but want a more modern lock, this is the knife for you. The blade shape, grind and profile are almost identical to the saber ground Delica. The blade thickness and length are very similar too. My only two complaints are the handle scales are not as grippy as the Delica. And the blade grind on one side was inconsistent. It took three sharpenings before I had smooth consistent bevels on both sides. It's hard to find small, strong saber ground pocket knives with good blades and good heat treatments. This is one of them. Despite my two complaints. I give it 5 stars. It's worth that rating.

Not sure why, but I love it!
My first Demko Shark and will not be my last. The cub is a small knife that does not feel like a small knife. I actually think it perfect size. At first I was not sure how I felt. The finger hole is a bit narrow and takes some practice to flick open. The shark lock jimping is aggressive and strong, but you soon realize it has to be. The handle scales seem very durable and are nicely rounded where it counts. This is not a knife that I will fidget with for days because the shark lock can tear up your finger after a while, but the lockup is strong with zero blade play. The blade shape is perfect and the handle scales melt into my hand. I would not change a thing about this knife.
