Balance issues
The knife blade is good quality, but there are problems with the handles. The bite handle doesn't seem to have enough weight to always pull the blade out of the safe handle. For some reason, they used pins instead of screws so the tightness cannot be adjusted. Ended up slicing my finger good when the blade didn't flick out when it was supposed to. The latch also just hangs loose when flipping the knife which gets smacked against the blade. I assume this will cause damage to it over time. This knife would be good if these issues were fixed.

Sloppy
I picked this up looking for a decent flipper, as well as a good knife to have in the backpack. It certainly fills those roles but it's not well balanced and not much care went to the small detail whatsoever. The Damascus effect was not properly tempered and I've had a few areas of flaking that I have since torched to cure. The pin was crudely cut and at an angle when it arrived, and threatened to damage the handles. Adjusting it caused the knife to grip too narrowly. The zinc of the handles had mold ridges that caused it to swing stiffly at first but since limbered up but perhaps too much so as now the handles do not meet evenly. Now this knife is quite sharp, it's quite good looking, it can take a drop for sure, and it still has some lovely weight even if balance can't be a guarantee. This is a good beater that may last for a few years, and as a blade will work nicely.
