Nice knife!
Just arrived today. So far I’m really pleased. The blade is beautiful. I will be primarily using this as a utility knife, but growing up in martial arts, I do enjoy flipping too. I’m probably best described as a novice at flipping. This will suit my skill set nicely. Basic opens and closes, index rollovers and thumb rollovers and a couple other little tricks. My only thought for the future of this line of knives for bear ops would be this. The back of the blade is nicely rounded to make it easier on the fingers when it comes in contact with them. I’d like to see that same rounding all the way around. The part of the blade that attaches to the handles has squared edges that do get a little rough when flipping. One final thought about knife center. This knife was delayed by the manufacturer for a very long time. Communication from knife center was excellent during this delay. I called one time. We had a nice conversation where they explained the situation to me and then I received weekly emails assuring me that my order was still in process and they would bill me when my order shipped. We’ll done knife center. Bravo.

Pros: Weight, Handle Material, Blade Material
Cons: Lock Ease of Use
Beautiful butterfly
The lock is tight its spring does its job well. Blade tip hits hardware in handle too off center. Expected higher quality guess I paid for materials and machining not finishing and qc. Ive bought a ton of knives and will buy another bear butterfly tanto but not this one.
