Bear & Son Cutlery

With their history in modern pocket knife design, Bear Ops has brought it all to bear in the design of the Nekama. The Nekama is a folding knife with a tactical EDC leaning. The drop point blade is made from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel, giving it excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. The blade of this pocket knife is smoothly deployed on bronze washers by utilizing the dual thumb studs to flick it open and lock up securely using a crossbar locking mechanism. The smooth aluminum handles are strategically shaped to fit your hand and keep your grip comfortable during use. The Nekama folder comes with a pocket clip that can be positioned for a left or right-handed tip-up carry.

Pros: Blade Material, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Weight
Cons: Blade Sharpness
Well beyond its price point
I have a few knives (38 Benchmade collected over 20 years). This knife far exceeded my expectations. Size was perfect for me, comparable to a mini griptilion. blade steel was easy to sharpen and holds an edge very well. It catches a little on closing but not a distraction, it will loosen over time. Very worthwhile purchase, The only negative is brand recognition and swag value but a great EDC. Knife was shipped very nice edge. but I sharpen all my knives to my favorite angle. Not a negative for the manufacturer. Blade is centered well in the handle.
