BGPYPVD: PY Fixed Blade, Black PVD

Bastinelli Creations

The PY fixed blade comes from a collaboration between Bastinelli Creations, Funker Tactical, and Fred Mastro of Mastro Defence System. This svelte design is a tactical operator's dream knife as it provides ample reach while remaining thin and very lightweight. It also happens to be a very good looking design which is why we gravitated toward it so quickly and utterly. We view it as a great EDC fixed blade in addition to being a tremendous tactical tool.

The full tang blade measures 5" in length, made from N690Co stainless steel with a black PVD finish. The contoured black G10 handle scales are extremely comfortable to hold and to use and are removable should the need ever arise. You have excellent jimping on the thumb ramp in both the forward and reverse grips and a lanyard hole on the butt end. The friction fit Kydex sheath includes a Tek-Lok style retention clip so you can carry it in a number of different orientations depending on your preference. We love this knife and are sure you will too; no matter your intended use, the PY will serve you well.

Couldn't be better
Excellent size, weight and sheath for concealed carry. A beautiful blade and beautifully designed for its purpose. It's thin and light but never feels fragile in its intended role. I enjoy carrying a fixed blade but day to day I carry something a little heftier (and cheaper) , on the hip. However this thing is a joy to carry anytime I don't want a big blade hanging on my side. The blade is thin enough that I'm not reaching for it for everyday task, but I'm not disappointed in that. It serves a different role. I have medium hands I reckon and every now and then the handle feels like it could be bigger, but there is great traction and I'm sure a bigger grip would work against what it does so well. Im Really happy with it. I'm sure it would not make someone happy if they wanted it to be there one knife, id never work with it. However, for a incredibly light weight, razor like edge, with a stellar sheath- I can't imagine a better blade... And it's stunning.

Beautiful Blade
This is my new EDC and I’m in love with it. The balance is just forward of my grip giving excellent response. The quality of this knife is great in every aspect. This is my second blade made by Fox cutlery and it will not be my last. The only thing that would make this blade better in my opinion would be a DLC coating.
